This Art Is ShitIf I knew then what I knew now, maybe I might have appreciated my work a little more.

I always used to compare myself to the other artists that I would see, artists much older than me, with the training and the experience I didn't have. It didn't seem to matter to me where they came from, just that they where good and I was not. If I had understood at the time that someday, with perseverance, study and practice that I too might be ask good as them, maybe I might have worked a little harder, studied a little more and not been so down on myself.

I'm back again. Was thinking about this piece today while I was browsing deviantArt earlier. I love love LOVE the color. Again--the contrast is so rich it appears as though your warm-colored character leaps off the image as though she were in 3-D. When I first saw this, I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me. I was like, "Is that--is that in 3-D? How did the artist DO that??

wow. the color contrast in this is so beautiful and so striking the warm colors pop and the cool colors recede so much that I keep checking to make sure their not some magical 3-D image--especially on panels 3, 4, and 6. that's amazing.
