Part of a series on my way between Alberta and California, I got some really great shots last year that I couldn't do anything with for a long time, but it's nice to be able to post them now. I think what I liked most about this one was the way the mist that went further back changed with the colour of the picture (it is not a gradient put on top of it). It happened in a few of the others as I got closer to the mountains as well As much as I don't particularly like being in most parts of the states much, I do enjoy flying over it, it is a very beautiful country.
Most these windows where too. As long as you make your camera focus on what is past them and keep the lens close to the glass then the camera wont usually pick them up. Putting a black blanket or jacket behind you to stop the reflections on the window or interior light picking up on them will help too.
nice pic. has anyone seen "castle in the sky" by hayao miyazaki?
there's something about the clean, crisp air, strong breeze, and bright sun that sets this.. mood, like life is happy and perfect, and the wind can blow your troubles far away
My issue is, whenever I fly, my window is not only super-thick (as they all are), but super scratched up, too.
amazing photo ^^
